Ridsdale hails fowler capture

Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale has hailed the signing of Robbie Fowler as a massive coup for the Championship club.

The 32-year-old former Liverpool legend has penned a two-year contract at Ninian Park, joining the Bluebirds on a free transfer after his release by the Reds.

Kerr opts for dons switch

Aberdeen have won the race to sign Dundee United's Mark Kerr, after Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood had all but given up on being able to land the midfielder.

Calderwood thought that the 26-year-old would take up an offer to move to England, but Kerr has now opted to make the switch to Pittodrie.
