Nuneaton Borough's assistant manager Andy Thackeray was left to explain another late defeat, this time a 3-1 home reverse at the hands of Dagenham & Redbridge.

The Daggers struck twice in the final five minutes to take the points and leave Boro facing a desperate battle to avoid the drop.

Villarreal's Spain midfielder Marcos Senna is set to disappoint a number of clubs across Europe by pledging his future to the Yellow Submarine.

The 31-year-old holding player, who was a key figure in Spain's run to glory at Euro 2008, still has another two years of his current contract at El Madrigal to run and is keen to extend that deal.
