Brighton & Hove Albion have been warned that midfielder Dean Hammond may seek to leave the club if they do not gain promotion this season.

The 24-year-old is out of contract next summer and Hammond's agent, Tim Webb, says a new deal is by no means certain.

Brighton have snapped up the former Hull City midfielder David Livermore on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old former Millwall captain, who becomes the Seagulls' fourth capture of the summer, has penned a two-year deal with the club.
