Royle offered extended vics stay

Northwich Victoria have offered a new contract to defender Chris Royle, as the club prepare for life outside the Nationwide Conference.

Royle was one of few impressive performers for the Vics last season, as the club went through three managers on their way to relegation.

Milan keen on zambrotta

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the European champions are keen to sign Barcelona's Gianluca Zambrotta, but not until next summer at the earliest.
