Brown ready for nervous finale

Aldershot boss Terry Brown has admitted that nerves are beginning to fray ahead of the crucial last day of the Nationwide Conference season.

The Shots face Tamworth, needing a point to ensure a top-five finish and all three to secure a play-off clash with Shrewsbury Town.

Olympics await for nelsen

Blackburn Rovers have given captain Ryan Nelsen permission to represent New Zealand at next month's Olympic Games.

The 30-year-old defender will take part in his country's first two games in Beijing before returning in time for Rovers' opening Premier League fixture against Everton on August 16.
