Brooker set for new City contract

Bristol City are ready to offer striker Steve Brooker a new contract in a bid to keep their top scorer.
The former Watford and Port Vale forward has two years left on his current deal.

Boss Gary Johnson told the club website: "If we are going anywhere we need to keep players like Steve.

"I get the feeling he will stay if a new contract can be sorted out and I'm confident he will spend the summer preparing to give his best for us."



Definately needs to be re-signed if Bristol hope to achieve anything.
