WTF Change in Jersey Numbers?

There has been changes in Jersey numbers...Hope Solo is #1 now and Nicole is #18 (F-ing sucks, bring back 18 ) and Abby Wambach is 12

Players' example always guarding the same number are rather rare in the Women's American north football: Julie Foudy ( number 11 ), Mia Hamm ( number 9 )....and Andréa Neil (number 5 ) in Canada

She could be doing it the European way where the no1 goalkeeper always wears the number 1 shirt. I never could understand why Americans had their no1 wearing wearing 18.

As Scurry is not there that number was also up for grabs.

As for Wambach's number I don't know , I think Abby liked wearing the no 20.
