Tells you a we bit about lake garda. Been there before and was one of the best holidays ever.

Pretty much looking at the north east of italy.

So do people here like italy? Have you been to italy before? What do you like about italy the most?

I went to Italy for my first time on honeymoon - and I couldn't believe such an incredibly amazing country had been on my doorstep for so many years without me realising!

I can't wait to go back - had 4 days in Rome, the place blew me away. You could stroll round a corner and be greeted by the most amazing architecture and historical monuments, it was almost surreal.

And as for the food and drink - fanbloodytastic.
And the people too, we found them very friendly - the ladies oozed sexiness, and the men were very suave.

Then we flew to Naples, and went down to Sorrento for two weeks - the drive round the clifftops overlooking the beaches was something else, and again the food and culture were second to none.

I genuinely didn't have a bad word to say about Italy, and my missus thought I would quite happily move there...and she was right!

They're the master race in my opinion!

I've not been to Lake Garda G-man, but it sounds fantastic - I am looking forward to getting back over there sometime.

We are saving up to go to Italy early next year. Planning on going to Sorrento, staying in Grand Hotel De La Ville. Looks fantastic, and am planning on taking a train into Rome also.

We are really looking forward to it. Last holiday abroad was to Benidorm, and to be honest with you it was such a tacky place. I loved the sun, and the beaches, but it certainly wasn't a family resort!

Have been Rome and Milan, major tourist heaven.

Both were great, the people in Milan were so friendly and its such a laid back place.

Rome has tonnes to see, although is quite hectic.

Would like to visit Venice, am pushing the other half.

Haven't been but it's one of the countries I really want to visit, some areas sound breathtaking and will look to go in the next few years certainly.

Have been to Milan and Rome. Loved both times.

I am an Italian fan (non-football) and just absolutely love the food and culture. I have never been south so I only know of the north and what people from the north have told me.

Someday I would like to live there myself.

Best country in the world.

Nicest food, brilliant climate, beautiful surroundings and the most attractive women in the world.

Only downside is politics and the way the country is run but as a tourist that doesn't matter.

I have been to Tuscany, La Marche, Umbria as well as Rome and Florence. I definitely recommend Umbria and La Marche as a cheaper alternative to Tuscany in terms of buying property. They are also rapidly growing so you may find your villa soar in price in a few years.

It's very much Sparky's Missus who carries the Wallet in that relationship.

I have to admit I did find Italy very expensive in places - but the place was that nice, you don't mind parting with a few pennies, it was worth every single one to be honest.

I like the thought of looking out over the Tuscan hills at sun down with a glass of red wine...bliss!
