Juventus have completed the signing of Internazionale midfielder Cristiano Zanetti.
Zanetti has joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer after successfully completing a medical on Thursday. The 29-year-old played only 13 league games for the Nerazzurri last term and is delighted to earn a change of scenery and a move to the Serie A champions. Zanetti was pleased with the welcome that he received and insisted he had no qualms about joining Juve, despite the allegations of match-fixing which could yet see Fabio Capello's side severely reprimanded, possibly even with relegation from the top flight. "Everything has gone well - I've had a good welcome," Zanetti told the club's official website. "I'm really happy to come here and play for such a prestigious club as Juve." |
