Today's news reports Chelsea have made a bid ranging from 80-100M for Kaka.

"Chelsea are set to sign AC Milan's world player-of-the- year Kaka for a world-record fee of €100m (£79.2m). (The Guardian) "

Personally, I think if he does join Chelsea I find it difficult to believe that they won't win the league. With a new manager that's capable of mixing and matching big names and getting them to perform up to par, I think Scolari will 'fly away' with Chelsea and win the league...maybe even the Champions League.

What are your thoughts, do you think he will join Chelsea?

never

first because he wants to become Milan captain

second because he would do a step-back to his career, like shevchenko did

You can't really cool it a step back he is not a player that should be allowed to play in a cup like uefa cup ac milan look very poor last season from their normal standards and coming to the premier league most players see that as a big step up and the English game is no dominating

Good luck to the man that has to fit Kaka, Deco, Ballack and Essien all into the same team (AND Lampard, should he stay).

I beg to differ, how would you explain Real Madrid and Barcelona's ability to have arguably the best players in the world. Is it because their owners are gangsters too?

It would be good to see Kaka' join Chelsea, but Ben91 made a good point, how do you fit Ballack, Essien, Deco, and Lampard, and now Kaka...hmmm...very interesting point indeed.

I don't think it would be a step back, you obviously don't know anything about football.

Sheva is aging...and aging quick just like the rest of AC Milan...Kaka would be silly to stay.

you dont know anything about football saying that Messi would do an error to join an italian club, if you explain me the reason please

regarding kaką,

going from one of the most important clubs to one that never won a CL isnt a step-back?
probably in the next 70 years ( if abramovich is still alive) Chelsea will have the half of the CL Milan has.

kaką silly to stay here? milan is aging?
pathetic, as you are

Messi definitely will make a mistake going to the Italian League...for him, he should either stay in La Liga or join the EPL...what makes you think the Italian League is so so great?(could it be the match fixing and corruption of the game) All those guys are indeed aging...heck look at the Italian national team...very old players...I was surprised Inzaghi wasn't playing.

What does the debt of the teams in the league have to do with anything? We're talking about football, not the debts.

Well I don't follow La Liga very much so yes I don't know much about it(hence I didn't know they didn't have owners).

You don't follow much football full stop. Who you say you support again? Chelsea or Liverpool?

If you're getting at me not following La Liga, Serie A, and other leagues apart from the EPL, then you're probably correct.

I'm a Liverpool fan...that's not afraid to admit when the team sucks and are performing under par.

I like the way you stand up and defend your league. You set a fantastic example to the English traitors on here.

I don't think it would be a downward step in his career, I think it is more a sideways step. I agree he would be moving to a lower club than AC Milan......they have incredible history and success, however, Chelsea are buying short term success and Kaka is more likely to win a European CL medal with Chelsea rather than AC Milan at this moment in time. I think the Enlglish top clubs will continue to dominate for a little while.

If Kaka moved to La Liga from Italy or from the EPL......THAT is definitely a HUGE step down in his career. All in my very humble opinion...of course Wink
