Everton 3 Chelsea 0

The teams seemed fairly even in the early stages, and Chelsea had the first chance after a scramble which led to a shot which hit the bar - an inch or so lower and it would have gone in the net, but it bounced away from the goal and was cleared.

Everton had goals from Jodie Handley, Fara Williams, both with shots from the left of the goal as they attacked. and Rachel Unitt competed the scoring with a header, all in the first half.

I forgot to take my camera, but my pics would probably be crap anywy, and others should be posting them on here soon Wink

One thing I'd have liked would have been to take a video of one of the linesmen (ok, assistant referees) getting warmed up. He must have been almost my age (well, not quite, but not young), and he did a brilliant take on John Cleese doing one of those funny walks Laughing
He was a bit of a character - when a goallie put the ball just outside the area to take a goal kick on the far side from him he shouted for her to put it back inside, saying "My eyesight hasn't gone yet." Laughing

Nice pics again Byrnefan Wink

I see you manage to have the blokes on the gate at the left on the bottom pic.
I was getting nearly the last programmes that the one on the left had remaining - he was joking that I must be wealthy as I was getting 3 (costing £1.50 in total).
The other one was saying he'd been at a recent game at Goodison where a relative had her name in the prog for some reason, so asked if he could get progs for friends and family - it cost him £69 Laughing

Everton game was on, and Everton won 3-0, with goals from Rachel U, Nat Dowie and Crouchy.

If they can win at Arsenal next week, they will be putting the Gunner Ladies under quite a bit of pressure.

(I wasn't there btw).

Everton made up for their FA Cup semi final defeat to Leeds by beating them 4-0 in the Premier league tonight to get within 11 points of Arsenal with two games in hand.
