You wanted to know who I support xena - well I support Linköping FC (LFC) they're a team in Sweden
but I like loads of different teams for different reasons.

If you read around you will find out about the other leagues - the Swedish is the best Wink

I agree Swedish League is the best in Europe - maybe even in the world Cool

But as I live in London and have been supporting Arsenal men for some time,
I started supporting Arsenal Ladies a few months ago as well,
after I accidentally discovered they existed Surprised
and how much cheaper it is to get to their games than the men's Laughing

I subscribed to this Arsenal (men) email/newsletter long time ago
and suddenly one day it says there's a UEFA Women's Cup QF in Barnet (!!!) - so close!
and it costs................................ £2 !!! Surprised
I went there then and had a heart attack and a stroke
when I saw the Great Kelly Philadelphia Charge Smith on the pitch Mr. Green

Yes, I discovered them very late, after living in England for nearly 5 years Embarassed
It just never occured me to check the website or anything Embarassed

Shocked It only cost £2 to watch a UEFA cup match? Wow!!

That is quite tempting - it would mean that if I had the free time, travelling down from the NW wouldn't be so expensive - I might be able to go to one of their UEFA Cup matches next season. I'd certainly like to.

yeah women's footie is cheap which annoys me even more that i cant go and watch!
my problem isnt the money for matches/travelling, its the transport;
espc when most womens footie matches are on Sundays
- and we all know how rubbish British transport is - and less frequent on Sunday's Rolling Eyes

but i will make an extra effort if UIK-Arsenal meet Cool

I know what you mean, smoggie - if I had a car it would be so much easier! Public transport is nasty in the UK!

I really want to go and watch Blackburn next season, but the academy where most of their games are played is difficult to get to *frustrated*. I'd better start trying to blag some lifts Wink

Smoogie I know where you are!
Agent S you been in England 5 years? Where you form?
Fruitcake you from Blackburn? Looking forward to playing them next season! I believe you got mgr of the year!

Well I am from Liverpool, I have a season ticket for EFC. When the chaps are not playing I watch the women, I am very lucky to see Fara Williams and Amy Kane once a week as she they are my coaches. I am 40 years of age, I did used to play at a very high level between 82-85 they just club sides at that time women's football way not so big. The biggest regret of my life! NOT going to USA when offered to play football. Who knows were I would be today! Well you now know about me, I live with my partner of 5 years in Cronton, Cheshire. It is only 15 mins from Liverpool though.

Often get those probs don't you Agent S WinkLaughing

It's unbelievable how little it usually costs to see Women's games. Three of us went to the women's FA cup final for less than a tenner.

I went to see Wales play a WWC qualifier a few miles from here (in Rhyl) for so little entrance fee.
But - transport is so difficult as Smog and Fruit have said - especially on Sundays when so many of these games are played. If I hadn't got a car, I would have had a helluva job to get to the game in Rhyl even.

Not just the game, but I've never been to Scotland before
and it's not like I can go there every day
so I wanted to join two pleasures in one,
sightsee some Scotland and go to a Scotland game Wink

I wanted to go to the Sco v Ger qualifier in September
but I'd like to see a Sco v Fin game a lot more Neutral
If I decide to go, will you help me find a cheap hotel/b&b? Wink
