Should be an easy game for the Arsenal youngsters next Tuesday.

I recommend picking up some cheap tickets, I got a ticket for myself and a friend for 40, and you are bound to see some goals.

Hopefully a couple of the Youth team players will be ready for a Carling Cup run out; Francis Coquelin, Gilles Sunu, Rhys Murphy and Sanchez Watt. Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Henri Lansbury and Jay Simpson are out on loan and cannot play in this match. Vela is still out injured.

My prediction: Arsenal 5-1 West Brom

If Arsene Wenger plays his under 11's I predict an away win for West Brom after the way they destroyed Boro.

My Prediction.......Arsenal under 11's 0 - 4 West Brom

Arsenal's youngsters are more reliable than the first-team, Hams.

After West Brom's demolishing of Middlesbrough I will alter my prediction to a 3-2 home win for the Gunners.

Arsenal 2-0 West Brom - FT

A good performance from the Arsenal youngsters. Wilshire was mesmerizing in the first half, Ramsey was excellent, as was Szczesny who is comfortably our second best keeper, Coquelin was a different class, and Senderos was solid at the back.

Despite scoring the opener, Sanchez Watt had a terrible game, poor control and the majority of his shots were appalling. The dynamics of the game changed completely when Vela arrived who was quality.

For a Carling Cup game, the atmosphere was extremely hostile following the sending off of the former-Arsenal player. We may have won the game but nearly all of the decisions went Albion's way, when I got back I noticed that I had lost my voice which says it all really.

A big test for the Arsenal youngsters, one which we have clearly passed.

Wilshere was a disgrace

What, because he refused to shake hands with the man who has prevented our team from playing beautiful football throughout the game with a series of cheap tackles?

I don't see what he did to be labelled a disgrace regardless of Roberto Di Matteo's comments.

perhaps because he got a tap on the neck and started rolling around

its bad enough when its a experienced foreigner but then when a 17 year old kid playing his 10th game or something its ridiculous

I would hardly say "a tap on the neck" and that he "started rolling around".

Yes, he did make a meal of it, but I would hardly call it a tap on the neck, the guy pushed him.

he made a meal out of the first challenge before acting a complete prat about not shaking his hand and i think netball players would be exagerating to call that a push

He makes Arjen Robben and Jermaine Beckford look like honest players.

I dont know, I just looked at this video and Thomas had his arm up and caught Wilshere's head by accident and he made a bit out of it sure, but Thomas deserved the red card for slapping his face, simple as that.

Even though Mascherano blatantly forearm smashed the back of his head?

Take your red tinted specs off.

Wasn't he talking about Jack Wilshire?

He was talking about how Beckford 'play acted' after Mascherano forearmed smashed him there.

24-09-2009, 09:33 PM
