EMIRATES TEAM NEW ZEALAND have won the Louis Vuitton Cup and with it the right to challenge for the America's Cup against the Swiss entry ALINGHI.

Team NZ swept the floor with the Italian challenge Luna Rossa five races to nil on the best of nine series to decide the Louis Vuitton Cup and now set there sights on regaining yachtings ultimate prize.

Anyone got any predictions or interest in this??? To be honest I wouldnt if New Zealand wasnt involved. But yachting is one of the sports we really excel at on the international stage, the core members of the Alinghi team are Kiwis (dirty sellout traitor scum) but still Kiwis.

Should be some great races!

The Luna Rossa v Oravle match got interesting at times, like when they crashed into each other.

Incase anyone wondered why there was no Australian entry its cos last time they entered theri boat sunk in the middle of the race! ahahaaaahahha

Random fact: This is the first time the Americas Cup has been decided between two teams where neither one are from America.
