Chasetown chairman John Donnelly has thanked Cardiff for helping them to ensure Saturday's cup-tie is staged at the Scholars Ground.
"We had a lot of potential problems, policing problems and health and safety problems," Donnelly told BBC WM.

"We spoke to Cardiff City and said 'we need some help here, what can you do?'

"They reacted straight away, the secretary, stadium manager and health and safety man came up, and they're actually running the game for us."

Donnelly added: "When they spoke to the police and the health and safety people, obviously they're speaking with experience, and that's what convinced them."

Good on City!
This is what the FA Cup is all about, travelling to places such as the Scholars Ground. This will be a very memorable day for Chasetown. Can they hold Cardiff like they did Oldham a couple of seasons back?

If there's safety concerns why is the police listening to Cardiff and not Chasetown? Understand experience helps but if something happened (hopefully not) it would be disasterous for them

Well Cardiff have highly skilled members of staff on their books, who deal with these things all the time. They have been able to work with Chasetown in order to ensure that everything is ok on the day!

Chasetown needed guidance from City as they don't have experience of hosting such a big game.
