League 2 side Northampton will never have a better time to play Man Utd at Sixfields on Wednesday
with the Red Devils having lost 3 times in a row and the Cobblers should be up for this clash which is also live on Sky.

Nottingham Forest fans chanting at Arsenal supporters:

"Champions of Europe - you'll never sing that."

Brilliant stick given.

Xhaka goals after 4 games - 2

Coquelin goals after 3 seasons - 0

To be fair coquelin isn't a goalscoring midfielder. He is there to keep things simple and protect the back four. I think Mascherano only got one goal for Liverpool.

Decent result for the the second tier players today ,great way to get a feel for the game in this country for players that will find it hard getting thrown in the deep end against top premiers opposition. Just what this tournament should be for really ,i would let this same line up go throughout the whole tournament injuries permitting. A much needed day off for our better, more trusted players when the likes of Chelsea, who we play the weekend and leicester , pretty much ran out their first 11. A good day all round for this throw away cup.

Chelsea taking the cup seriously as they know that's the best way of qualifying for Yerp next year.

Arsenal always look good in this cup, it's when they meet Birmingham that it all falls apart..

Xhaka and Elneny both showed why they should be in the first team.

The way they already have a good relationship moving the ball forward, opening space for one another, making themselves available for the defence was very refreshing indeed and something we haven't seen in the last 3 games without them for sure.

Both have the ability to move the ball quickly and accurately which is also something we haven't seen recently. Not to mention both having the engine to cover lost ground, something I highlighted on Coquelin's limitations.

It's a good problem to have but Wenger clearly has things backwards. Xhaka and Elneny will be and SHOULD be both first team starters without question.

Unfortunately as per usual I guess it's going to take another major f**k up in a big match before the penny drops for Wenger to make the necessary changes.

West Ham needed an injury time goal from Payet to beat the mighty Accrington Stanley 1-0 at the London Stadium!

I never thought i would see the day when a West Ham starting XI never had a single English man or even British player in it

Shameful
