Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo has revealed that he sees his future in Italy - despite last week insisting he was happy at Stamford Bridge.

The Argentine hitman is one of Serie A's greatest goalscorers after impressing at Parma, Lazio and then both Milan clubs. He had been struggling for first-team action earlier this term before also making his mark in West London and then doing the usual "I love it here and never want leave" act that football fans have become accustomed to. However, in an interview with Sky Italia he has revealed what his true intentions are.

"I would like to return to Italian football," the 30-year-old revealed. "I'd like to go back to Serie A because Italian football is made for me. I still have two years to run on my current deal - but we will see. Carlo Ancelotti will always be my favourite Coach, even if I were to join another club." Given Ancelotti's precarious situation at Milan, it is unlikely that the pair will be reunited there. But what about Real Madrid?
