View Full Version : Real eyeing up Maccarone

In a shock move, Middlesbrough hero Massimo Maccarone could be linking up with the 'Galacticos' for a fee believed to be around 10,000,000. Despite struggling for a place in the Boro line-up this term, the Italian striker has captured the attention of the Spanish giants during the Teesiders' recent and remarkable UEFA Cup run. By scoring the winners against Basle and Steaua Bucharest, both capping off unbelievable four-goal comebacks, the former Empoli man has alerted himself to Los Merengues, who are said to be 'desperate' to land the services of the 26 year old. Being little more than a bit part player for Middlesbrough over the last year or so, the Premiership club would surely not deny Maccarone this dream move. What do you think?

haha i would be totally shocked if this move came off! I am seriously doubtful, more realistically a move to Torquay should be on the cards.
