Bristol City boss Brian Tinnion insist striker Leroy Lita will not be sold over the summer despite their interest in Sunderland's Marcus Stewart.
"It is not a case of Stewart coming in to replace Lita," Tinnion told the Bristol Evening Post. "I want them both here next season.

"We are already talking to Leroy about a new contract.

"I fully expect that to be signed, sealed and delivered by pre-season training, which starts on 30 June."

Tinnion added that talks are progressing over 32-year-old Stewart.

"He's a quality player and you have to be interested when they become available," added Tinnion.

"The chairman (Steve Lansdown) is negotiating with Marcus' representatives and we're hopeful of getting him.

"I'm sure there will be lots of offers for a player of his standing, but the fact he was born and bred in Bristol and City is his club must mean we are in with a good chance."
