Hey there everybody new guy here!

Im a full back who never plays wing back or mid. im just wondering what kind of boots will be good for me as i am just about to buy my first expensive boots! my limit is 40, but thats in the discount section of the website so technically im looking for 100 boots. i have heard the 'puma kings' are good but cant really make a descision until i know about the other alternatives.

Hi. you will want to get some strong boots like rooney n rio wears cos they give you much more protection. Definitly not the cristiano/ thierry ones cos they give you no protection and i know someone who has broken his ankle with them. Same with all the puma ones- looks classy but not protective. Esp for a defender you need strong ones. ive got the adidas copa mundial boots they look horrid but are the comfiest boots ever made. it's like wearing slippers literally. And they're really strong and waterproof

You might be able to get them cheap somewhere, especially cos its the end of the season boots will be going cheap.

Yeh they're ok but dont look that nice. also ruud wears them and he's a nob so i wouldnt get them. Just get ones which look fairly nice and give you some protection. Unless they're the copa mundials- they have my vote

Fully agree with you on ruud van nistelrooy! anyway i will probably settle for the Copa's or the Tiempos. Depends on how much money i have to blow!

I doubt a defender would want to wear a pair of vapours.
