Clubs geared up for Uefa Cup draw

The draw for the first qualifying round of the Uefa Cup takes place on Friday.
There are 50 clubs in the draw, which takes place at 1300 BST in Nyon, Switzerland, with three geographical seeding groups.

British and Irish interest focuses on Cork City, Portadown, Linfield, Rhyl, Carmarthen Town and Longford Town, all of whom are in the Northern group.

The ties will be played over two legs on 14 and 28 July, with the winners through to the second qualifying round.

The 31 teams who progress from the second qualifying round will go through to the first round proper, joining another 49 teams.

I hope when the second round comes Dundee United get an easy draw so we can progress into the Group stages.

I think Longford v Carmarthen will be a good game. Ireland against Wales

Could be a lot of Welsh fans in Lithuania during last week in july,
Rhyl at Atlantis and TNS (if they win - surely they must!!!!) possibly playing Kaunas.
But more likely, I suppose, us Welshies crying and the Pool visiting the Faroes.
