true West Ham will be the underdogs , but last time they were in the Fa Cup Final against Arsenal in 1980 no one expected them to win .

I think Liverpool will win, one, I have $100 riding on this game, two, they are the world best club [in my eyes and alot of other peoples] and also like conner said no one expected them to win in '80, and no one is expecting them to win now Very Happy the smart thing to do would go out there, get their tails kicked around the park and at the end of the game shake hands and try not to throw themselves on the floor and have tantrums while millions of people across the world watch the game. Theres my 2 cents.

well...my heart says West Ham but my head says Liverpool, so I voted with my head.
Although...the last couple finals Liverpool have been in, they have been the underdogs, now they are the favourites. I dont know how thats gonna affect things in terms of the Liverpool players getting motivated for the game. But on the other hand, this is the reds only chance for a trophy this year.

does this mean that West Ham are in the UEFA cup next year or do they still have to win the final?

the least I could do is cheer for West Ham, they gave us Lamps and Joe Cole after all.

COME ON HAMMERS.

Edit: just wanted to add some stuff

Maybe a more interesting poll would be 'Who do you want to win?'

I voted Liverpool but I've always had a soft spot for West Ham so I'm really happy they've made the final and will be in Europe next season - what a return to the top flight. There's not much pressure on them really which will make things interesting.

This is going to be a tough one for West Ham, I definitely think they should rest ALL of their regular first team players for their last Premiership game. Very Happy

you're probably not far off the truth there.

but then even that won't help you if they beat Barcelona.

West Ham will win this.

We play each team in the league just before the cup match and lose.

We then scrape a win in the cup-tie.

West Ham 4-1.

Enough scraping.

i think Gerrard is the key man here and maybe Robbie Fowler will be the hero and score the winner in the last minute for Liverpool ...3-2 .

they'll get destroyed, come on West Ham,we can destroy (says this in a scouse accent) Stevie Gerrard and Jamie Carragher (go's out of scouse accent) theres no reason we cant win is there? After all its just one game isnt it?

I wish Fowler will score a hat-trick and lift the cup for us.

Unfortunately he's cup-tied having played for Man City Laughing

I'll have to go for West Ham as it would be good to see them win a trophy. Unfortunately they've got a massive uphill battle against Liverpool (massive understatement),but football IS unpredictable sometimes!!

The best final I've ever seen. Arguably the best final of all time.

All I can say is thank God Steven Gerrard is English.

FA CUP FINAL (Liverpool vs WEST HAM) 13th May
