This topic is for all the rumours in Dutch football.. (so the forum stays clean)

'Ajax scouts are watching Yoann Gourcuff'

Ajax (and Chelsea, Liverpool, AC Milan, Arsenal, Tottenham and Olympique Lyon) are watching the 19 year old midfielder/striker Gourcuff. In France they compare him already with Zidane.

''Steven Defour (Genk) for 5 years to Ajax''

Defour still has a contract for 3 years at Genk. Genk is now mad and want to go to the Uefa with this story..

Probably it ain't true.. but still..

Martin van Geel (TD at Ajax) is surprised about Genk going to the Uefa.

Van Geel said that Ajax didnt had contact with the player after the contact with the club.

Also when Ajax sold Tom Soetaers to Genk, Ajax got the first rights to negotiate about Defour.

Ajax captain Tomas Galasek would prefer to go to either PSV Eindhoven or Feyenoord when he leaves in the summer.

The Czech Republic international, who has played for six years at the Amsterdam ArenA, rejected a contract extension from the club in favour of a move.

The defender cited problems with the captaincy and club among his reasons for leaving.

"I felt the club had not been paying me enough respect. I think I have done a good job playing here, but I've never felt they've given me the respect I deserve," he told Czech daily Sport.

"It's true that when Ronald Koeman came here he put me on the bench, but as time went on I earned his respect and became an essential player," he explained.

"Then Danny Blind came in for Koeman and I thought he would give the captain's armband to me, but he gave it to [Juan] Escude instead.

"When we played the match for Johann Cruyff's trophy he put me on the bench, which was a shock, and, when we won the match, Escude raised the trophy.

"That's when I started thinking about going on loan," he said.

Jaap Stam's imminent arrival in the summer also put more pressure on the defender's position and helped make his decision to leave.

"I have no problem moving within Holland," he continued. "Personally, I would choose PSV or Feyenoord. And if that didn't happen, I'd probably go to another country," he said.

Cologne have been the only club to have seriously expressed an interest in the player so far.

Sounds like Tomas Galasek has been given a rough ride. He is a quality player and would be a good addition too any squad.

If galasek really leaves Ajax to go to psv or, even worse, feyenoord than he isn't a true Ajax-player. It just ain't right.
But personally I doubt it... I think he is gonna play somewhere in Germany.

some bad Ajax-news:

Wesley Sneijder confirmed to a dutch footballsite he negotiated with AC Milan...Milan would like to buy the talented Ajax-midfielder and give him a contract for 2 years. Sneijder talked with technical director Adriano Braida of Milan... also La Gazetto Dello Sport wrote this in his newspaper...

some media think Sneijder is being used in the transfer of Jaap Stam towards Ajax.
A Detail: Sneijder resign his contract a couple of months ago, which make him a Ajax-player till the summer of 2009.

Soccernews.nl is saying that Ten Cate will bring Gabri from Barca to Ajax.

The 27-year old Spanish midfielder is free this summer. Gabri needs to take the place of Galasek who goes to FC Nurnberg (Germany).

When Gabri comes to Ajax it seems Davids will definetely not come to Amsterdam....

(But the site is not very good.. so I don't believe it..)

His personal manager (don't know if this is correct Wink ) said that Gabri would like to go to Espanyol instead of Ajax.
This because Espanyol and Barca are close to each other. This way he would have a bigger chance to return to Barca

Don't be too sure yet!!

'Morgen zal Gabri een persconferentie houden waarin hij officieel zijn vertrek bij Barcelona bekend zal maken. Of hij dan ook al zijn nieuwe club bekend zal maken, is nog onduidelijk.'

Tomorrow Gabri will give a pressconference where he will tell he will leave Barca. If he will talk about his new club is not sure yet..
