Who's been the outstanding player for Newcastle this season?
Now, I have a feeling that its a daft question - because obviously (for me anyway) it's Shay Given!
But is there anyone else that stands out??

i think more than likely shay given but for an outside bet i would go for charles n'zogbia he's been superb!!!

Definately Shay Given... He kept us in many games and also stopped some games from blowing out. A true Toon legend Smile

Scott Parker for me

Given was always reliable

And it would've been interesting had owen not be injured, he scored alot of goals in very few games, almost a goal a game before that injury

Can't wait until next season to see how he goes

Parker, Given, N'Zogbia and Solano.

Given

He was brilliant last season kept us in many games Arsenal (H), Pompey (A) and West Brom (A)
Im glad he's staying I think in a few years he could be a Toon legend!
Not bad for a former Blackburn number 2 keeper.

Scott Parker had a fantastic season. But Given was the best player this season. Again showing he is consistantly world class no matter how [beep!] the team in front of him is playing.

If it wasn't for Given i doubt we would be in the top half of the league to be honest.

Does anyone think that his return gave us a huge boost, but i just wanted to no how people rated him.

Hes pure class if you ask me.
