Pompey chairman makes Green claim |
|
Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric says Norwich are willing to let 25-year-old keeper Robert Green leave for £2.5m.
Mandaric told BBC Radio Solent that he was keen to sign a new keeper after releasing Shaka Hislop last season. "We were trying to see if Green would be available and for what money. We are not quite sure yet what to do in the goalkeeping department," Mandaric said. "We asked Norwich for information and they told us they would sell him for £2.5m and that's about all we know." Mandaric insisted Pompey were happy with current keeper Jamie Ashdown. "We're not quite sure what to do. We are happy with Jamie Ashdown but we are thinking about maybe making some changes there," he said. |
