Boys and Girls it's almost upon us, the make or break moment.

It's the biggest moment Teesside has ever seen, the town has turned into a sea of Red and White, everywhere you look in boro thers just red and white!!

The boro players have the oppurtunity to go down in history as the players who can change this club and town like never before.

20 years ago in division 3, and going into liquidation - 1 man came and saved us - Steve Gibson, that was 1986, 2006 and Middlesbrough FC are in a european cup final, it's an unbelievable rollercoaster of a ride.

i cant wait till i get to Eindhoven and cheer the boys on, the town has united now come on people everyone cheer on the boro, lets win this trophy for Steve Gibson - the saviour, the hero, the fan

COME ON BORO!!! UEFA CUP IS COMING TO TEESSIDE!!! EINDHOVEN HERE I COME!!!

Looks like mac wants to break all the clubs records befor he goes.
AT Craven Cottage yesterday Boro fielded their youngest ever and oldest ever captains, Lee Cattermole and Colin Cooper...

Gibsons dream is to field an all Teeside squad (wonder what Wenger would make of that Laughing )
Kanoute is a doubt for Seville (yay)
shwarzer declared himself fit an ready 2day (the way Brad an Ross played recently maby he wont be started? )

Though id av a new avatar for the occasion, thats off the new top to anyone who didnt realise.

COME ON BORO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boro-Sevilla 0-4 !!!! Sevilla revenge for Steaua! Middlesbrough didn't deserve to reach the final. Very very weak team! They were very lucky beating Steaua!
Bravo Sevilla!!!

I too agree that Sevilla were the better side today, I thought Viduka had a couple of chances he should have done better with, and was a bit disappointed in Rochemback and Boateng's play......Still, the UEFA final is a job well done......

yeah a pretty convincing win for Sevilla , Middlesbrough have done well though to reach the final , a shame Steve Mclaren`s last game in charge could not end in glory .

Very unlucky Middlesbrough, even though they lost the final they have won a lot of peoples admiration for themselves, and they should feel very proud too

Boro were dissapointing on the night in my opinion. The best team won. No excuses. But they did well to get that far, and fully deserved to be there because they beat the teams they come up against.

Sevilla were easily the better team and I dont think 4-0 really flattered them. Unlucky Boro but they did well to get that far and provided some great entertainment but in the end they just came up against a much better team

It was not to be, the fairytale ending didnt happen.

But my god what a experience one i will never forget!!

Eindhoven was marvellous the weather was awesome so hot!! everywher you looked There were boro shirts Sevilla shirts it was unbelivable! The city was just packed with fans and big screens and footballs flying over buildings and flags it was class!

I've been on a tour of the Phillips Stadion a few year ago when i was eindhoven but to be in that stadium for a UEFA Cup Final was a truly special feeling.

As for the match we didnt derserve it, they outplayed us and were so so faster than us it was scary! Overall it was a horrible feeling, i was heartbroken, a couple of tears came when i looked over at the Sevilla end at the end of the match and they were so happy, it could of changed this club immensley if we won it but once again it was more heartbreak for us smoggies.

I'm proud of my club, the players, the manager, the fans and Steve Gibson - our 2nd season of European football and we reach the final - Unthinkable. No European football next year is a huge blow but we'll be back you can count on that!
