Lincoln vs Macclsefield (1-0)

Well another one of those team that are allways up there are Lincoln, they will be going for third time lucky in the Play-offs. Macclesfield who now trail 1-0 arent the strongest of teams, but they have a shout !

Northampton vs Southend (0-0)

Northampton who will be wanting to get back into League 2 allwasy seem to be a better team in scond leg in play-offs. At half time the scores are 0-0 and Southend who failed to win the LDV vans will want to come back to Cardiff, but this time as promotion contenders.

Southend arn't in league 2

any way i would hate it if Bristol Rovers or Cheltinem Town made the play-offs
because i support Bristol City and hate both of those two teams, i would also like to see Wrexham miss out on the play-offs, good luck to Lincoln City, Carlisle United though

Grimsby claimed a place in the League Two play-off final with a hard-fought 3-1 aggregate win over Lincoln City. The game finished 2 - 1 on the night to Grimsby.

Playoff Preview...

Quote:

LEAGUE TWO PLAY OFF
Semi-final First Leg
Whaddon Road
Thursday, 18 May
Kick-off: 1945 BST

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cheltenham midfielder JJ Melligan returns as the Robins look to defend their 2-1 lead from the first leg.

Melligan had been in isolation after a family member developed chicken-pox but is now in the clear, while defender Jamie Victory misses out.

Wycombe are likely to choose from an unchanged squad, with midfielder Rob Lee being given as long as possible to recover from an eye injury.

Argentine Sergio Torres (ankle) is the only definite absentee.

Cheltenham through to final...

'Cheltenham Town reached the League Two play-off final after a draw secured a 2-1 aggregate victory over Wycombe.

The visitors pushed hard, but struggled to create clear-cut opportunities in a tense encounter at Whaddon Road.

Wycombe's leading scorer Tommy Mooney and the dangerous Kevin Betsy made plenty of running, but rarely found space behind the Robins' stout defence.

Stephen Guinan missed Cheltenham's best chance when he shot over the bar from six yards with 20 minutes remaining.'

Don't know who you could possible mean!!!

Yes it was a good result. Shame about Gary Jones, the only good thing is that i think it means he'll have to start with reddy who i really rate!

I had a little party that night though, and even better we broke the curse of the playoffs about a home team never winning!

Hartlepool have become the first team in League Two this season to secure a place in the playoffs. They'll probably end up with auto promotion anyway though.

BBC

Darlington 2-1 Rochdale

Ian Miller's injury-time header handed Darlington the advantage in their League two play-off semi-final.

Rochdale's Chris Dagnall curled a shot against the bar before Jason Kennedy gave the hosts the lead with an exquisite shot into the top corner.

The visitors pressed after the break and got their reward when Dagnall equalised with a deflected effort.

But substitute Miller rose highest to head in Neil Wainwright's free-kick and snatch victory in the dying moments.

BBC

Wycombe 1-1 Stockport

Facey opened the scoring but Stockport hit back.

Stephen Gleeson scored with a 25-yard volley to put Stockport on level terms with Wycombe after their League Two play-off semi-final, first leg.

Stockport's Anthony Pilkington was denied the opening goal when his header was saved superbly by Frank Fielding.

Ten minutes later County conceded after keeper John Ruddy's awful kick let in Delroy Facey, who powered past two defenders to score with a low shot.

But on 83 minutes, Gleeson equalised with a sweetly-struck volley.
