Two German teams will contest UEFA Women's Cup final for the second time
as holders 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam and inaugural victors 1. FFC Frankfurt
meet in the two-legged final over the next two Saturdays.

Who do you think is going to win? I hope it'll be Potsdam Twisted Evil

I want Potsdam to win! Razz

But, they have some worries about some of their players' fitness/health... Confused Though, Frankfurt also have some player issues, too, judging from this article.

If you have Sky Digital, then keep an eye on a channel called DW-TV (I think its channel number 801) on Sunday morning, because their news programme (which is on very frequently) might show some clips.

Frankfurt won Rolling Eyes 4-0 today.

Goals by:

Renate Lingor (2)
Sandra Albertz
Kerstin Garefrekes

Apparently Potsdam were playing AC/DC's "Highway To Hell"
in the dressing room before the game Laughing Surprised
It did not scare the Frankfurters away though Confused

Let's hope it'll be 5-0 for Potsdam in the 2nd leg Twisted Evil

Shocked

Bit of a shock yesterday! I didn't think Frankfurt would have such a huge goal margin after the 1st leg! Confused I don't see how Potsdam can claw it all back -- but I hope they could, it would be super dramatic, and great! Razz Twisted Evil

Though, from the clips on DW-TV news, it looked quite easy for Frankfurt at times. The first goal came about from a free kick following a tackle on Prinz, which to me didn't look so bad... I watched the news a few times so I could see it again and again Razz. But all the goals were really good to watch.

There a couple of nice goals from Pohlers on Saturday - but from the highlights I saw the best moment was when Steffi Jones drove a header into the net - it was great to watch I have to say (even though I wasn't rooting for Frankfurt! Laughing Cool )

Why don't you email UEFA and ask them Conn? Wink

Maybe because UEFA Women's Cup
is like you'd combine the men's Champions League + UEFA Cup.
Hence the two legs.
Haha I'm making this up but it makes sense Laughing lol Wink
