Larsson delighted with send off |

Henrik Larsson was delighted to have signed off his Barcelona career in such style as he helped them lift the UEFA Champions League.
The Swedish legend came in the second period and set-up both goals for the Spanish side as they came from a goal down to beat Arsenal 2-1 in Paris. The match was Larsson's last for the club, before he returns home to Scandinavia - and he was ecstatic with how it went. "It was a tough match and the whole team deserve credit for the win," he said. "It was an unbelievable way for me to finish my career at Barcelona. I have had a fantastic experience here in my two years with two league titles and now this. It's amazing." Team-mate Samuel Eto'o - who grabbed the equaliser was equally jubilant. "I am lost for words," he said. "For all those who came to support us here and for everyone back in Spain we have shown what we can do here today. We deserved to win. "We never gave up, we were carried by Liverpool's spirit. "Having seen the final last year we knew that everything was possible, that the game was not over until the referee blew the final whistle." |

Too sad, he has to go. But I would like him to stay for at least 2 more seasons.
LARSSON, a legend! |
