Coventry have completed the signing of David McNamee from Livingston in a deal worth up to £100,000.
The 25-year-old full-back has signed a three-year contract at the Ricoh Arena. Coventry boss Micky Adams told the club website the Scotland international will prove to be a good signing as the club vie for promotion to the Premiership. "We've watched David on numerous occasions and know we've acquired a very good right back who has excellent defensive qualities," he added. "In addition to this, he's a confident lad who isn't afraid of getting forward when he needs to and I'm sure he'll settle in quickly as part of the group here. "I look forward to working with him when the players report for pre-season training at the end of the month." Meanwhile, Livingston hope to sign Lee Makel from Dunfermline by the beginning of next week. |
