Cardiff City owner Sam Hammam has paid tribute to academy manager John Kerr, who died suddenly at the weekend.
The 46-year-old was on a family holiday when he passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning.

"John was a key figure in development at the club, bringing through talent like Joe Ledley and Cameron Jerome," Hammam told the club's offical website.

"It is very hard to imagine John will not be with us any longer. Ninian Park just won't be the same without him."

Big Loss to the club. Kerr brought through some great talents and has unfortunatley died at a very young age. Kerr never got the praise he deserved for bringing these players through but his record speaks for itself
