The boys have started this topic in the other section,
let's have our own as well - for the women's football.

What was (were) your most memorable moment(s) of the past season? Smile

Mine was definitelly Jayne Ludlow's (Arsenal Ladies) winning goal against Charlton Athletic Ladies
in the FA Women's Cup semi-final, 10-15 seconds before the end of the match Cool
That was an outstanding goal and the look of Kelly Smith's face afterwards
(she jumped on someone's shoulders and was screaming her head off)
is something to remember Laughing Cool

Aww... I wish I'd seen that Laughing

Speaking of funny - by far the funniest thing I saw in Borehamwood
was during the Arsenal v Birmingham game when Emma wanted to kick the ball to our defender,
but she missed it and let it crawl past her and into the goal Laughing Hahahahaha!
The look on her face!!! Priceless! Laughing

Oh yes, she must have - we were all laughing there Laughing

That was one of her better games though (despite of that one Little Johnny-up) so she shouldn't feel bad Cool

All the times they won...so every game!! Cool Getting to the FA Cup Final, but the build up matches were more exciting than the final itself, espeac the Jayne Ludlow dieing seconds goal!! Smile Imagion if that hadn't have gone in Surprised Surprised would have been such a different story me thinks Wink
Can't actually think of specific things from matches Confused ooooh yeah when the ball hit that can thing that was filled with water and the person behind it got soaked!! Laughing

Hahaha, it looked like coke or tea to me - I'm pretty sure it was brown Laughing

Julie Fleeting's comeback from injury and 2 goals in her first game then
- that was awesome Cool

Jayne Ludlow's 4 goals in one game is also worth mentioning.
Forgot which game it was though Laughing Embarassed

I also heven't been to much women's football... well, I haven't been to any except Eng V France the other month Crying or Very sad I've spent the season trying to find as much info and stuff as possible on the internet. But, I'm new to women's football really; this has been my first season following it properly (as properly as you can on 't'internet anyway!).

But my highlight is all about Blackburn!! Smile I'm going to go to as many of their matches as I can next season Smile

That Yankey cross/goal though in the fa cup final is something I won't forget though Cool

The funniest thing is that I had less problem finding the stadium in Frankfurt tha for example in Bristol, Manchester, Leeds etc...I really enjoy the UEFA cup away. The one in Stockholm was brilliant as well.

Hahaha yes, I stood there stunned too,
and after 3 or 5 seconds remembered that I am holding a camera in my hand,
so I took a few snaps of it Laughing
