As a hardcore england supporter myself, i honestly think that robinson suxxxx, his performance against sweden was really awful, he is scared of going out of his box to grab the ball or collect aerial balls, he cud have saved that 2nd swedish goal but to my opinion, england has better goal keeper's than him, he simply suxx to blows.. but u know what, if it was seaman behind the cage, he wud have saved both goal attempts..

pls do not hesitate to share your thoughts and opinions

Robinson is not the best but ....

I agree with the fellows earlier comment that Robinson isn't up to the same standard as his counterparts in other international squads however, who else can we choose. David James causes us heart aches with stupid mistakes.

The problem the England team has is there isn't a pool of top quality goalkeepers to choose from in our own Premiership. Look at all the top clubs and you will see a foreigner whom we are nurturing to screw us over in a penalty shootout.

Robinson is just the worst goalkepper of that world cup, no doubts. He might be funny by the end.

I have always rated him and thought he should have stepped straight in after Seaman retired, instead of going down the embarasing David James route. Having said that i agree his world cup performances have been below par but what real alternatives do we have?

I have to agree that he isnt at his best, but still the best keeper england have got, when he does play his best though he is unbeatable and easily one of the best keepers in the world.

My favourite keeper though is Shay Given (if only he were English.) Without Given Newcastle would have finished near the bottom of the prem.

robinson needs improvements big time, he totally gave up when they faced portugal, if it wouldn't be for his poor preformance at the shoot-out, Rooney's red card and beckham's injury, england would've clubbered portuagl and atleast be in 3rd or 2nd place this year.

you should offer english nationality to some polish immigrants, this way you will finally have a decent goalkeeper... Smile Very Happy
