Montpellier were last seasons surprise champions but have lost striker Olivier Giroud to Arsenal.

PSG under Carlo Ancellotti will be the favourites to win this time and have signed Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva.

Marseille should be able to challenge for a CL position but their manager Didier Deschamps has quit to take over France.

Lyon and Lille will also be strong contenders for a European place again but not quite good enough to win the title.

I follow all the major leagues in Europe - In France my favourite team is Marseille.

Ok, Marseille is a good team, but i think this season will be dificult. I think this, because Deschamps go out, moreover there are lot of player go out too.
And Why your favorite team is OM?

When I was younger a famous English player called Chris Waddle played for OM
so they became my favourite French club and I always used to look for their results.
I also like the atmosphere the fans make at the Stade Velodrome and would like to visit there one day.

Marseille lead the table as we go into the international break with 4 wins out of 4 and have also signed Joey Barton on loan!

It will be a scandal if PSG don't win the French league this season given the huge amount of money spent on players!

I would love it if another team like Lille or Montpellier could upset the odds and win the title but cant see it happening this time.

Marseille have really got off to a great start winning all 4 of their matches and could be surprise challengers with maybe Lyon.
