Juventus v Napoli - 20th October

Postby Hams » Mon Oct 15, 2012 10:22 am

On Saturday we have a top of the table clash between Juventus and Napoli!
Both teams are still unbeaten in Serie A this season and are on 19 points each at the moment.

Any comments or predictions? - Will Juve keep their unbeaten record or is Napoli going to win and go top of the league?

Napoli were the only team to beat Juventus last season when they won the Italian cup final with a 2-0 victory!

JUVENTUS:

---------------------------Storari---------------------------
---Bonucci------------Barzagli--------------Chiellini------
----------Vidal----------------------Marchisio-------------
--Lichtsteiner------Pirlo-----------------Asamoah-------
--------------Giovinco------------Matri-------------------

NAPOLI:

-------------------De Sanctis------------------------------
---Campagnaro------P.Cannavaro--------Gamberini----
--------Inler-----------------------Behrami----------------
----Maggio--------Hamšik---------------Zuniga-------
-------------Pandev------------Cavani-----------------

A great clash expected tonight, champions Juventus welcome the second in league, the other only undefeated team at the moment, Napoli. It's only eighth round and this is already a scudetto worthy match.

400 millions € is net worth of all these players together. (Cavani 60 mill. Hamšik and Vidal 30 mill. most expensive)

These two have already met in this year's controversial Italian SuperCup in Beijing (3 red cards for Napoli ). Best attack in the league (Juventus) against best defence in the league (Napoli), two great ones against each other - Pirlo vs. Hamšik, and currently the best club football Italy has to offer! Expect anthying but no goals. Also a lot of yellow cards.

:D :)

Full time:

Juventus 2 - 0 Napoli
1:0 M. Caceres 80'
2:0 P. Pogba 82'

Juventus needed only 2 minutes to beat Napoli and keep 3 points in Torino. Do you have any comments? Due to that victory the Old Lady became the single leader and escaped in the table from the other teams.

It looked like Napoli were going to earn a point in this top of the table
clash but the 2 substitutes who came on for Juventus helped win the 3 points in the last 10 minutes!

I can't see anybody stopping the Old lady winning Serie A again but don't think they will go the whole season unbeaten again.
