Liverpool suffered another defeat .....losing 2-1 to Tottenham at White Hart Lane , the match was not without incident as manager Brendan Rodgers agains complaining of biased refereeing against his players ...challenges on both Gerrard and Suarez in the penalty area being waved away by the referee , Rodgers said after the match I don't know what Gerrard and Suarez have to do to get a pen ." Liverpool have yet to receive a penalty this season .

Southampton had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Norwich after a howler from Saints keeper Paulo Gazzaniga , with Southampton leading 1-0 a low free-kick by Norwich striker Snodgrass looked an easy stop for Gazzaniga. That was until the 20-year-old Argentine let the ball bounce under him ..the result keeps Southampton in the relegation zone .

Liverpool were a little unlucky to leave Spurs without anything but they should
be able to beat Southampton at Anfield although Suarez can't be expected to score all the time.

Liverpool 2-1 Southampton.

Did you know that Liverpool have posted the lowest open play crossing success rate in the Premier League this season, finding a team-mate with just 14% of their centres.

Sounds like the Reds need to work on their crosses!

Any more comments or predictions?

With Steven Gerrard taking all our corners ,this pearl of wisdom comes as no surprise ... I fancy the reds
to win this one comfortably, unless Rodgers decides to use Downing in goal . Shocked

Well done to Luis Suarez for trying to punch the ball into the next
as it now means he is suspended and won't be able to take on West Ham next Sunday!

I'm happy the suspension is out of the way ,its been hanging around like a bad smell for weeks now .
I have a feeling Rodgers will play Gerrard as a striker on Sun ,who knows we may see less chances
spurned and more assists without Suarez's incessant need to do everything himself .

Its games like these that should inspire the team and define our season !
