Sunderland lost 2-1 to Norwich and left manager Martin O`Neill under mounting pressure with the Black Cats just a point away from the relgation zone .

Chelsea lost 3-1 to West Ham despite going a goal up early in the first hald ....Rafael Benitez is still looking for his first win as the new Chelsea boss and he will be worried how his team fell apart after looking in control for so long .

If Chelsea play as well as they did in the CL last night they will heap even more misery on Sunderland and win this comfortably

Sunderland 0-3 Chelsea

i think Martin O`Neill will need to win one of the next three games to avoid being the latest managerial casualty , a record of two wins out of the last 22 premier league games is appalling by anyones standards .

Did you know that Chelsea have won 14 and lost one of the last 15 Premier League games against Sunderland.

Any more comments or predictions?

finally a league win for Chelsea, after 4 weeks? (If they don't screw up ) Very Happy

Will they travel to Sunderland today?

Will they travel to Sunderland today, or are they already there? I think I read that they travel the day of the match.

If so, do they even bother getting hotel rooms, since they will fly out to japan immediately after game?

Are they using a private jet? I assume they fly out of Newcastle airport tonight.

FT

Sunderland 1-3 Chelsea
0-1 Torres 11'
0-2 Torres 45+2 Pen
0-3 Mata 49'
1-3 Johnson 66'

Any comments on todays result?

Is Torres slowly getting back to his best again?

This was the first time the Spaniard had scored from the penalty spot in England.
