Schalke 04 have sacked their Dutch manager Huub Stevens
after a poor run of results has left the Bundesliga side in 7th place in the table.

The final straw came on Saturday when there was a 3-1 defeat at home to Freiburg.

Any comments?

this decision was made far too early...
schalke never was a favourite team for the title.. they only had a good run in the beginning of the season..
I think they would have finished as the third of the league anyway and I can't understand why they lost confidence in Stevens, because of only a few games...
