Juventus have announced that they have agreed a deal to sign Spanish striker Fernando Llorente

The Athletic Bilbao forward will move across to Italy when his current contract with the Basque outfit expires in the summer.

Is this a good transfer for the Old lady and will the attacker be a success in Serie A or should he have remained in Spain?

I think Joe Cole has put us off freebies for life now Laughing

Fair played to Llorente, deserves to be at a club in the Champions League. Glad Tottenham didn't get him.

Absolutely brilliant signing for Juve. Really surprised no one in the prem went all out to bring him in.

I really don't understand why Juve would waste their money on Anelka. I don't think they are in dire need of another forward and can not wait until the summer arrival of Llorente.

Anelka is definetely useless to Juventus,Llorente seems a great player and most of spanish footballer he's good with the ball,he's also tall.Great deal for Juventus.

Llorente is an excellent striker, who is a good target man. Not the best position wise, but got some great feet (for a big guy)

Will probably end up top scorer in Serie A.

No sure but Juve have had problem with their 4 strikers for a while, not one of them really able to cement and be the consistent goal scorer, also linking play with teammates. Not sure Llorente will solve this or will he just be a better version of Quaelairela/Matri...

Juventus sign Llorente/Anelka
