Liverpool earned a point at the Etihad as they drew 2-2 with champions Man City , it could have been more though as Liverpool enjoyed a string of chances without actually putting the ball in the net ...21 chances to 9 from Man City .

West Brom lost 1-0 to Tottenham and it was not the best day for manager Steve Clarke who also saw Goran Popov sent off for spitting , it is now 5 defeats in 6 games and West Brom are now down to 9th place in the table .

Remember guys this game isn't until Monday night!

I predict Peter Odemwingie to be recalled and then score a dramatic winner
for WBA at Anfield where by he will then kiss the badge on his shirt and declare he wants to stay at Albion the rest of his career.

i imagine there will be plenty of humerous chants from the Liverpool supporters ...as for Odemwingie ..his best chance if he plays is to score the winner for West Brom...fans will always forgive as long as you are scoring or playing welll ..

Liverpool have improved on the pitch and the squad. West Brom started well and now they're dropping down the table.

I think we'll win this game comfortably 3-0. Suarez, Coutinho and Henderson.

Did you know that Liverpool haven't beaten any of the other teams in the top half of the Premier League this season going into this weekend (P13 W0 D7 L6).

Any more comments or predictions?

I'd say Liverpool are more likely to win this one. The spot light will be on Coutinho so hopefully the strikers can do their thing without the pressure on them for a change. Teixera was training with the first team today, i hope to god he's ready to step up.

ok...lets us see the last 3 games at Anfield

Liverpool 5 - 0 Norwich
Liverpool 3 - 0 Sunderland
Liverpool 4 - 0 Fulham

so the odds are in favour of a Liverpool win ....

I was at the WBA vs Spurs match, and it seems to me that the Baggies strikers would struggle to hit a cow's arse with a banjo, much less hit the net against the 'Pool. Liverpool 3 WBA 0

LIVERPOOL seem a good, if not tight bet, at home here against West Brom.

Could well be one of them scores you mention.

I'm going for 4-1 Liverpool.

One of the worst games i've ever seen so far...we don't look bothered and our passing is woeful..

West Brom haven't had a shot at goal yet but they still look comfortable...we need a massive improvement in the second half.

1-0 WBA

79 minutes it took for WBA to have their first shot which resulted in a corner, they scored with their second attempt..

typical Liverpool yet again...we play so well against Arsenal and City then this happens.. Rolling Eyes

Well, clearly the Baggies hadn't read the script. This was not supposed to happen! A real kick in the spuds for Liverpool, hard to see them threaten the top four if they don't pull this one out of the fire....
