I'm not looking outside those three for the winners
I voted Frankfurt (head not heart)! But would like UIK to win it

at a long shot maybe Arsenal - but dont think they're strong enough to beat the German's or the Swede's

Arsenal will be playing with virtually the England team this season, so they wil win the cup hands down, as long as they stay injury free.

Smoggie, my friend, as much as I agree with you about UIK and the German teams
being really strong and hard to beat,
no offence - but you haven't seen Arsenal play much
- and I can tell you I'm quite confident about the next UEFA Cup Cool

BRING IT ON !!! Cool

Hahaha! I wouldn't! Laughing

That would be the only match (well, two - since it's two legs)
when I wouldn't be happy when UIK score Embarassed

The draw is out Cool

Well, we don't know the qualifiers yet, but here it is, as it's on the uefa site right now:

Group 1:
1. FFC Frankfurt
qualifier
qualifier
qualifier

Could it be any easier for them? Rolling Eyes

Group 2:
Umeå IK
Kolbotn IL
qualifier
qualifier

Group 3:
1. FFC Turbine Potsdam
AC Sparta Praha
qualifier
qualifier

Group 4:
Brøndby IF
Arsenal LFC
qualifier
qualifier

Brøndby IF will not be a walk in the park,
I wish we were drawn against Praha or Kolbotn instead
but at least we'll avoid the mighty Germans at the Group stage Cool

The 1st qualifying round will be played on August 8-12th
(we'll get to know the qualifiers then and the draw will be completed)
and the 2nd round will be played on September 12-16th
- then all the teams from the groups above + qualification round winners
will be known and will play against each other as drawn Cool

GOOD LUCK UMEA & Arsenal !!! Cool

OK, England team and well known hmm...

Aluko is Charlton through and through or am I wrong? Shocked
Chapman? Unitt? Do we really need more defenders though?...
Ermm... Sue Smith? Shocked Karen Carney?...
If that's Carney indeed then it would be very good news Cool

Is it new strikers? If not - what positions? Can you tell us?
