Liverpool v Swansea - 17th Feb |
Liverpool surprisingly lost their last game 2-0 at home to WBA.
Swansea won their last match 4-1 at home against relegation threatened QPR. The Swans will probably play a weakened side as they are in the Capital One cup final the following week. Do you have any comments or predictions for this match? |

I no longer feel confident at home anymore. I'm going for a 1-1. Sturridge to score. Michu to equalize.

Swansea have already beaten us at home comfortably this season....i expect the same this sunday...Swansea have had a week of rest while we have had a mentally tough game against West Brom, then travelled miles away to Russia, played on an awful pitch where we chased a lot, travelled back then we play a very good pass and move Swansea team....we then have Zenit only a few days after again...
I am not confident at all and can see Swansea making our form caryy on... 1-2 Swansea. |

Swansea and Liverpool are very similar in terms of possession and passing.
I think both sides will even it out. I have noticed how vulnerable we are on the counter. We need better defending. Bring back Pako! Man was a defensive genius. |

FT
Liverpool 5-0 Swansea 1-0 Gerrard 34’ (pen.) 2-0 Philippe Coutinho 46’ 3-0 José Enrique 50’ 4-0 Suarez 56' 5-0 Sturridge 71’ (pen.) Any comments on todays result? Was this the most one sided contest ever? I know the Swans have their final coming up but this was a complete shambles. |

My my, how wrong was i?!!
Swansea played a weakened side so we have to take that into consideration but Liverpool were fantastic. Howard Webb gave us 2 penalties!! He must of had a change of heart. Although, 3 points to Liverpool doesn't affect his beloved Man Utd. Coutinho did well with the finish, glad he got himself a goal aswell as Enrique. Suarez destroyed the Swansea defence today, he missed a few chances but he set a few beautiful moves and did well to earn himself a goal. Thank god he's 3 game goal-drought is over |

I can't even read Liverpool anymore..
Brilliant performance and result but was it down to Liverpool being good,Sturridge's return or Swansea having their minds on Wembley? We'll soon find out on thursday against Zenit. |

We'll be without Coutinho and Sturridge for that game Also, got to give a mention to Borini, such a shame to see him get another injury so soon after coming on. He's had a terrible debut season so far. It looks like he dislocated his shoulder. I hope for a quick recovery, Fabio. |

Then all Zenit have to do is man mark Suarez, sit deep and hit us on the counter...should be fun to watch.. |

Expect to see Downing and Henderson on the wings again, we only have 1 striker available. Oh god, Shelvey in the middle :/ |

another bout of match fixing going on.
wonderful forfeit from Swansea. not turning up would have been a more worthwhile option. |

I heard some people crowing on the radio that Laudrup should have played a stronger team.
But would the likes of Michu, Rangel and Williams have played with 100% commitment? Of course not. This might be their one and only chance to win domestic silverware. They arent going to risk injury in a meaningless midtable game are they?? |
no they're not. which is why they might as well have stayed indoors and not bothered staging the game. |

What about the both Norwich games? or the West Ham game? |
what about them? |
Match fixing because of the score or because Swansea rested 7 players? Trust me, if there was match fixing, I'm sure we'd be doing a bit better than 7th. |
match fixing because Swansea made no actual attempt at getting a result. it was pointless turning up, as i said above. |
Whatever Laudrup said at half time was void by Coutinho's 16 seconds of the second half goal.
Any hope of getting something from us had gone after that. West Brom didn't have a single shot until the goal from the corner past 80 minutes, their tactic was to sit back and get us on the counter, obviously Swansea tried to emulate this. |
