Arsenal have been doing much better in the Premier League recently
and have won 3 out of their last 4 to go just 4 points behind local rivals Spurs in the table.

Bayern Munich are running away with the Bundesliga at the moment
and are a massive 15 points above Dortmund and recently announced that Guardiola would be their next manager.

Do you have any comments or predictions? This match will be live on ITV1 with a 7.45pm kick off.

After the Blackburn game a lot of Arsenal fans are feeling much deflated and aren't looking forward to this game so much, but I certainly am. We, rightly or wrongly, rested 7 players against Blackburn so to conclude that we therefore have no chance of winning this game is daft.

I would say we're definitely the underdogs (over the two legs) but we do have a strong team that is capable of bringing results out the bag when required to.

1st leg: 2-1 Arsenal
2nd leg: 3-3

Bayern plays an exeptional season so far..

under normal circumstances this should already be clearly decided on the 1st leg..

1st leg: Arsenal 0-3 Bayern
2nd leg: Bayern 4-1 Arsenal

Did you know that Arsenal have only lost two of their 17 knockout games at home in the Champions League (v Chelsea in April 2004 & v Manchester Utd in May 2009).

Any more comments or predictions?

While obviously this is going to be a really tough game, I would be very surprised if they thumped us in both legs. What I could see happening along those lines is us winning the first leg by a small margin and them demolishing us in the second.

do you watch Bundesliga now and then? Very Happy

Bayern demolished nearly every team they faced this season... they seem unstoppable right now

Easy win here for Arsenal i see us winning 3-1 at home and getting 2-2 in Germany.
My main worry comes from soon to be Arsenal player Alaba coming up from the back. Outside of that i don't worry about anyone on that Bayern team.

Bayern have an outstanding form this season and I think they can reach the final again. Recently Arsenal present a very poor performance and the atmosphere in a locker room is very bad as well. I heard Arsene Wenger shouted at his players for 45 minutes after a loss against Blackburn Rovers. Things go bad there and I think Bayern will win 3:1.

Some have said Arsenal will put up a good fight here. I agree, I think they will let Bayern know they've been in a game. 2-1 to Arsenal.

HT

Arsenal 0-2 Bayern

Kroos 7’

Müller 21’

Terrible defending by Arsenal in that first half!

agreed. neanderthal tackle that deserved red without question.

45 minutes of pure education for arsenal. Bayern have been a million miles ahead in every aspect so far.

Podolski scored Surprised

bad goalkeeping that. had no business coming out for the ball at all which left an open goal.

totally against the run of play but makes the 2ndd half more interesting.

i'm expecting a red card at some point.

I'm a bit surprised... that Bayern team seemed a bit dull after that corner-goal from Podolski (which should not have been given, because Podolski deflected the ball)..

could have been a much clearer result so far...

so it's just 1-3 by now...
