I want to hear your opinion about today's Ribéry constant diving and France defending with 11 men.

btw english press must be delighted... England will never win anything so their happiness comes from other teams losses. Bunch of animals (the press ofc).

You fail to mention the huge amount of Portaguese dives tonight.

Don´t be stupi and don´t put everything in the same bag. For instance, Miguel injured himself and nobody said the contrary. You see a portuguese fall and say immediately he is diving.. Shame on you. You are pathetic!

I didnt even mention Miguel but while your on that subject i did see the Portaguese players harrasing the referee for a free kick when Miguel injured himself!
I was refering to your team as a whole (there were simply too many episodes of diving to discuss each example) although one of Ronaldos in the box was particually artistic! Wink

I guess you didn´t see french team playing...

Hurt proud is a big deal when it comes to analise a game coldly. I give you a discount. Wink

I agree with what you say about hurt pride and ability to analise a game, therefore i suggest you watch a replay in a few days.
I know i made mistakes after the England game i thought Carraghers penalty should have stood when this was clearly not the case.

Portugal dived to wild excess tonight France didnt.

Maybe you can write a bit of portuguese to me, please!!!!!!!!
I can't wait to read!

Bravo, Portugal, você mereceu bater os ingleses

But I have to stop there, because this forum has an English only rule Wink .

Don't get me wrong, I come on this forum to talk about football, not to get involved in stupid nationalistic arguments. Maybe the best thing to do with idiots like 'Expanium' is ignore them, but if people want to be really rude, sometimes it feels good to be rude back.

(P.S. if the Portuguese is wrong, don't blame me, blame 'Babelfish' - I can't pretend that I know any Portuguese, I wish I did. On pourrait toujours s'insulter en français; comme ça, personne n'aurait l'avantage linguistique Laughing )

English fans should get over the whole Ronaldo situation. He was wearing portugal jersy not Manchester United. If he let England off easily then England wouldn't win with pride right? As the English team was playing their best for their nation, Ronaldo is from Portugal and playing for his country. The more booing from English fans, the more I dislike to be considered an English fan myself.

And England lost to penalties. You can't complain about the 10 men factor. Ricardo saves was awesome-- no tricks at all. It's the English team's fault for not practicing on those kicks. Stop blaming other people for goodness sake. If the team is good, they should reflect on the game and grow stronger from the defeat. Not ranting like a child.

We are sore losers the fact is we were poor against Paraguay scraped a win caue of an og. We were held 0-0 for 83 minutes by T and T then 2 late goals got us a reprive. Then against Sweden in the 1st half we were good then sat back in the 2nd half and defensively from set pieces we were woeful. Then against Ecuador we were lucky when they hit the bar as did Sweden twice and we scraped a win thanks to a superb free kick. Then against Portugal the game was 0-0 no side threatinging then Rooney should have won his side a free kick the ref didn't give it then he foolishly stood on Carvalho and then pushed Ronaldo so he got what he deserved Ronaldo didn't do anything wrong and as usuall we are getting away from the main point England are not good enough.

Please use some common sense and lay off Ronaldo he is a fantastic footballer and a great human being, he deserves some respect for all the good he does for football its refreshing to see someone so young who just wants to play football and do hi best for his side. He is a world class talent and the premier league and Manchester United need him so please lets just call it an end to the Ronaldo stick, its tottaly unjustified. Very Happy

Now that WC is ending Man Utd fans remember that they need him. But probably it's too late. Hope he don't live Utd yet cause he will learn many things there. Also he still need to grow up but he's way better now.

Tsubasa nobody is anti-Portugal, but dont like how they approach the game. People just dont like to see your teams attitude. Maybe next time they will do fair play and if they do that everyone will like them!!!!

One of my favorite teams in the tournament was the Ivory Coast, exciting games!!

fair play? every1 started talking about portugals fair play after holland's match in the 1/4 finals... Can people be more ridiculous? Did you see the dutch tackling all game long? The injured C.Ronaldo, elbowed Figo, etc... Is that fair play? How about Rooney stepping on Ricardo Carvalho's balls? Is that fair play? Please give me a break...

It makes me really sad reading such things. Not that I believe that it's true - fortunately I know that the Spanish people have nothing to do with what you've said -, but I pity you for thinking that way.

Very True! They have about 5 of Portugals top players! Half of the english teams are made up of Foreigners, without them, England premership would be as dull as watching paint dry!
