I have seen the match Portugal-France again and 11 times Portugueses players jumped, felt or dived in or around the surface ...

That is unbelieveble, not only those players are violent (seen from all the faults) but thay are CHEATERS !!!

Ok !!! We knew it with England, Deutchland and even european Sporting and Porto teams, but that is ENOUGH !!!
There is no way modern occidental football can stand that CHEATING football. Portugal should choose between third world football and modern football if ever they have any honor !!!

(And [beep!] that very very very bad Uruguyan referee who has lost its red cards for excesive cheating !!!

11 time ?! lol I noticed only 4 times (clearly)...don't you exagerate ?

He's counting also when R.Carvalho takled Henry, because he went to the floor (cheater!!!!)... and when Ricardo thrown himself in the air to try to reach the ball WITH HIS HANDS shotted by Zidane (that cheater! playing with th hands!!! how could he???)... and when Miguel got the knee injury (Com'on!!! He had one good leg left!!! Cheater!!!)... Oh, and when the camera focused Nuno Gomes, seating not in the bench but on the grass (YOU DIVER!!! Not even playing and already on the grass!!! Cheater!!!!).

Damn... there are still 3 times missing... Confused

I think the portuguese team should be banned! We are a very big pain in the ass for too many people!
Even better, the portuguese players should all play in Portugal! Then the big foreign teams would loose more games! Would't it be fun?

By the way, stupid topic!

PORTUGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have now the leftovers, the reason why WC is so competitive:

-Togo, Ghana, Trinidad, England, Iran, Senegal, Tunisia, Angola....

That happening would suck, Ghana would had it too easy to win the World Cup with those teams listed.

I wonder when will you all stop to make moral judgements to portuguese players when you have no moral to do it. Is there any team in the WC that didnīt cheat and dive? Arenīt you all exaggerating and increasing what has happened? Go and find something useful to do.

As usual the Portugal players and fans can't take constructive critisism. Nobodys asking for them to be expelled, if you used that ruling half the teams (probably most would not be able to play). Portugal are the best (or should that be the worst!)exponents of diving, in what is a competition that has massive world exposure.
How clever is it? You must question some of these players inteligence. To try and con the Ref is one thing, but to try and con a myriad of TV cameras viewing them at every conceivable angle, as well as several million viewers. Most of the must be as thick as they look.
All that is needed is a Ref with the bottle to red card any diving player and it would soon stop. There should also be a video committee to fine players who endulge in what is blatently cheating retrospectively. Hit these con men where it hurts them most.

We are bad, that is your opinion. I accept it. But we were in the semi-finals because of our goals, not because some referee marked a bad penalty and gave vantage to some team!!! Did you all for instance realized that some very well behaved (yeah Rolling Eyes ) teams were in the quarters and semi-finals because they benefit refereeīs errors? Are we the oneīs that cheat?

I'm not sure what is the point of going on about this all the time. Yes, some Portuguese players dive, but so do players from every country in the world cup, England included. Maybe Portugal dive more than most other teams, but that isn't why they got to the semi-final. Holland and England didn't lose to Potugal because of Portuguese diving; they lost because they weren't good enough to score a goal against them.

Rooney didn't get sent off because of anything Ronaldo did or didn't do - he got sent off because he is a thick little thug who couldn't control his temper; end of story. To be honest, I don't think it made much difference - we didn't look any more likely to score while we had eleven than we did with ten. Basically, we were C R A P.

It's like the infamous Ronaldo wink. We say that he is winking to say "look, I got him sent off", because that is what we want to believe. I think a more likely reason is that he told his team mates before the game that if you wind Rooney up he is likely to lose it and do something stupid, and so his wink just meant "I told you so".

I think it's pathetic that so many England fans swallow all the hype around our team and desperately cling to a belief that we are out because of foreign cheating; we are out because we played about as well as Switzerland and, as a team, forget about how good or not the individuals are, we don't hack it with the real big boys.

P.S. If you're looking for the champion diver in this world cup, forget the Portuguese and watch Signor Perrotta - the guy clearly has an inner-ear problem.

If Sepp Blatter is serious about the fair play then he should give Cristiano Ronaldo a suspension of some sort.

How about suspending Peter C. too? He scored a goal by pulling a T&T player's hair

What's your constructive argument anyway? I don't see such anger about Germany's Diving freekick that resulted in their 2nd goal

Should CHEATING PORTUGAL be EXPELED from any cup ?
