to put things in perspective visit this site in your spare time (you being the no one in particular you)

I saw a few of the white wrist bands (staying on topic)..when watching the games like in the crowd shots. I wear one and I use one as a pony tail holder and one on my backpack....they represent a very small effort towards helping make the world like one happy family (or at least a little better than before).....yes I have been accused of seeing the world through rose colored glasses.

www.one.org <<<<<<united (not the team) we stand as a World of all nationalities getting along the best we can and helping stop world hunger/poverty/aids at same time...(staying on topic....anti means against pro mean for...i'm pro Por)...Smile

I don't feel nothing against the english.
I only get annoyed when you say the spanish are racist. Maybe you don't realize it, but it's an insult for us. In most cases, you start this mini-wars, maybe not conciously, I don't know.
And the Portugal - England thing is getting annoying already... (from both sides)

There is a reason why people think Spanish are racist. Spanish fans hurling abuse at black players and not to mention Luis Aragones are just some of them. Maybe the problem has gone away but people never forget. It's like people still call English fans hooligans when there hasnt been any major trouble for years.

Well I happened to be in Lisboa 2 years ago and we got spat at kicked at by English "supporters"
after the England France game and we ran for our life.
I do a lot of away games with France and my local team and the England are the worse equal with the PSg fan.

Hey I like England team all right (supporter of both Portugal and England teams!!! talk about being stuck in the middle). I've got to say that England didn't deserve the win because of various reasons. The England matches were quite boring to watch this world cup. The player's hearts don't look like they are in the game I'm sorry. Rooney getting a red was quite harsh (I would say Yellow). Sure he stomped on the portugal player but I think it was an accident. The problem was he is pretty quick tempered and pushed Ronaldo afterwards. I'm sure if he admitted his mistakes and appologised to the guy he stomped on it wouldn't have been that bad.

As for the Ronaldo wink. Come on- the 'meaning behind the wink' was all made up by reporters. If you look at this logically (without the biased thoughts of commentators) the wink is just to the side benches. He does it all the time anyway. To me it looked like 'we are doing ok on the field' or some kind of reassurance to the side benches. It's just that journalists--- well doing what they do best make up stories to stimulate ratings. I hope more fans can read between the lines and understand the media can be manipulating. Then the whole England-Portugal thing wouldn't have started.

So shake hands both side's supporters. World Cup is over.

U english people drink to much for the brains/stomach u have. Ur fine people when u do not drink but when u start drinking and somethin goes wrong u just cant see the diference between sayin one thing rather than other.

Don't know how some1 can open a topic like this (maybe ur leaving at Mars or somewhere else). Also the news show me that many english people acted like vandals and destroyed C Ronaldo's property in England.

Also the some infamous site ihateronaldo.com was an atempt of what.. for english suporters be the most prestigous suporters in the base of the f*ckin earth? Give me a break.

After this, what u were expecting from us? Maybe a pair of Port Wine bottles or somethin else.
