am i alone about this but it's my opinion that it was a very poor world cup.

no matter who won tonight i'm talking in general,no big spectacular games all dull overplay penalty's??

a few interesting games in the first round but from the 1/8th finals nothing to see!

it's the most boring world cup i've seen.

The matchs in the group are awful, after too but it was more interesting.

I dont think it was a great world cup either, nearly every game was dissapointing and the final was just typical of the whole tournament. Both teams were too scared to open up and attack and never really got going. Nearly every game was the same. France-v-Brazil & Spain and Germany-v-Italy were the only stand out games and the Italy-Germany game was the only really exciting end to end game I remember.

I loved every moment of this World Cup, it was amazing to see all those great players on one stage playing the beautiful game.

australia V japan 3-1 to australia... austrlaia scored 3 goals in 8 minutes!!!

didnt look like the beautiful game to me. Although i didnt watch as much as you lot probably, nearly every match i did see almost entirely involved each team trying to get the players from the other side sent off. And the poor card-happy refereeing made it even worse.

I Think that the 1st round was quite interesting. Did u remember Germany v Costa Rica? Argentina Vs Serbia-M.? Usa v Czech R.? Australia v Japan? Japan v Brazil? Spain vs Ukraine?...
From the 1/8th finals I agree, maybe only German vs Italy was an exciting game.

After all it was a WC without any unexpected result where the strongest teams go on (except ur Brazil ).

It became also a kind of "european" WC!

Pretty boring save the epilogue.

Not alone, personally i think it was a crap wc. Not spectacular games and teams dont care about scoring goals. Just win the game, that's all that matters.

Easily the worst World Cup i have seen since my first one in 1978 , even worse than 1994 and i thought that one was bad..

This one seems worse because it was so well organised whereas 1994 was a calamity from Diana Ross's penalty kick to the epicly boring final..

1982 was the best one for all around entertainment and 1990 was the most tense due to England getting so far and probably should have won it..

BORING WORLD CUP. VERY BORING. NO ENTERTAINMENT AT ALL.
