I read alot of posts in this Forum throughout the entire worldcup and this is what I think about the people participating and the WC in general.
First of all it was a great WC and I've seen great fans from various countries. I'm a Berliner and I was expecting some tough time from English fans but all the people I met were friendly. Thanks for that. On here many people were respectful but what I disliked most in this WC were the mudbattles by low quality "newspapers" (like Bild in Germany) and also by some fans on here.
We all support our teams and we see every dive by our team (Ballack specialized in this) as a foul and every foul by our team as a dive of the opposition. But people show some dignity even in defeat. Football always includes wrong decisions but dignity is the most important thing for every football fan cause most of the time we won't see ours win it all.
We all have our oppions and we should call it as we see it but a win is a win and loss is a loss. Simple as that. For me Germany is 2nd loser, that's more than I was expecting. Congratulations Italy!

Anyway I'm trying to thank all the fans and participaing nations for this WC. Plz, try not to always blame a loss on the opositons unfair play or the ref cause thats degrading yourself.

I hope RC_Lens and SuperKiwi read this thread... What they told about Portugal was very bad, considering that France also did it, gainning more with it (Oh, a french player fell off in the box!!! Oh, after what they said, it can't be a dive!! OH MY GOD!!! IT IS A DIVE!!!!)

I have been in Kaisersalutern to see Italy-Australia.. very funny day, wonderfoul organisations. great atmosphere..
Congrats to Aussie fans (in particular to Aussie girls lol) who have sung and danced with italian before the match in the Kaisersalutern main square.

i am from germany and i thought the WC was soo great !!
and it was nice to talk with peoples from other countries!!
