[difficult, not completely sure on middlefielders... Sure on defense and Henry.
However not the best players, but the ones played on average better.
Materazzi maybe not as good in defense as Nesta (injuried), but he is also a great scorer on corners]

For me the top player was Cannavaro. This World Cup was marked by expert defensive play. There were very few offensive players that broke out.

To be honest i was gutted Australia went out but Italy didn't cheat i wasn't there fault the ref gave a dodgy penalty. You also cant say Grosso dived because the player touched him .

Hmmm would you like to talk about the red card for Materazzi in that match? Materazzi was sent out for a terrible foul vs...Zambrotta! The red card was completelly unbelievable...
