In America we're not exposed to much football - you're football that is, we get plenty of American football. Because the World Cup was held at a time when I was able to catch many of the matches I have become much more interested in following football more closely. I have a good friend who is a huge United fan so I have decided to root for ManU as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to follow the season in the States?

Also, what do I need to know to be a good fan (besides hating arsonal, I got that already).

Thanks so much for you're help.

Hating Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool are the basics about supporting the club!

Im not sure if you can get games on tv over there but if not then im sure you can get highlights on the internet and latest news on the official site and just follow the team the best you can.

fellow American here....here is how to watch united games over here (lots of options)

#1 --- if you dont get digital cable...GET IT. it has Fox Soccer Channel, which shows premiership matches all the time. its in the 140s all over NC, but im not sure about other places, but wont be hard to find. and United is on a good amount.

#2 --- if you have satilitte, you can order the premiership package. PM me, or respond here and ill shoot you the link for that. again...shows tons of EPL games, and United is on over here a lot.

#3 --- the CL games are on espn2 once the group stages get going. it will be on tuesdays and wednesdays at 230 pm. starts in sept. ill keep you posted on that.

#4 --- stay on soccer forums, best way to get the insight from fans over there.

#5 --- you can get highlights on the internet easily if you look for them, and it doesnt take long. youtube is an easy way to get the goal highlights.
